Are all your products vegan?

Yes, all our products are vegan and dairy-free. 


Do you have a storefront? 
We do not currently have a storefront and operate out of a commercial kitchen located in Miami, Florida. Subscribe to our mailing list to hear about events and shows where we feature our chocolate creations.


Do your have any certifications?
We are certified Kosher (pareve) and are in the process of applying for USDA organic and vegan certifications as well.

Where do you source your cacao beans from?
We make our chocolate from ethically sourced cacao beans from Peru. We take pride in using organic, high-quality natural and ethically sourced ingredients, and try to source from the rawest, most natural form of all our ingredients.


Do your chocolates contain cane sugar? 
No. Our products are refined sugar-free. As a sweetener for our vegan chocolates, we use a monkfruit sweetener.


What do you use as a milk replacement?
We use coconut milk but we may substitute coconut milk for oat milk, flax milk, and hemp milk. 


Do you use any nuts, dairy or gluten in your products?
We understand that there are many allergies that can be severe (e.g., gluten, nuts, and dairy). While we do make our chocolates without the use of gluten, we are not a dedicated gluten-free facility.

What types of nuts are used in your products?
In terms of types of nuts used, we use cashew, almond, pecan, hazelnut, chestnut, pistachio, and macadamia nuts. Additionally, as the FDA considers coconut a nut, this is another nut that is used extensively in our products.

How do you prevent cross-contamination of common allergens?
We keep separate molds, utensils, pans, etc., for our standard ganaches and chocolates versus equipment and tools that are exposed to nuts. We cannot, however, guarantee that our chocolates (while made without gluten and dairy and, unless specified, without nuts), have not come into contact with something containing dairy, nuts and/or gluten or that could be contaminated with airborne gluten and or particles from nuts and or milk, so we may not be suitable for those with life-threatening allergies.

If I have a severe nut allergy, can I still order your chocolates?
Some of our vendors are not dedicated allergen-free facilities. If you have a specific allergy or would like additional information about our ingredients, please email us and we will be more than happy to help you.


How much is shipping?

Our products are perishable, and we take great pains trying to deliver them to you in great condition. As a result, our shipping fees vary depending on where you live and the temperatures the products will encounter on their way to you.

When do you ship packages?
Packages are shipped out on Monday and Wednesday to guarantee freshness. For shipping dates outside this window, please contact us.


Do you use eco-friendly packaging?
We strive to use eco-friendly packaging and team with ULINE to provide shipping solutions that are better for our environment. However, given the sensitive nature of our products, it is not always possible.


What carrier(s) do you use?
We ship via UPS to provide you with the fastest and most reliable service.


What are your customer service hours?

We’re always available by email, and we’ll make sure to get back to you within 24 hours. If you prefer to talk, call us from 8am to 7pm EST every day. You can we also use our contact page to reach us.  


Do your products contain salt? 
No, our chocolates do not include added salt unless for a specific flavor (e.g., cacao nibs and sea salt). 


Do you use artificial colorings?
No, we use natural food colors (e.g., lavender for purple). Our chocolates may be decorated with these natural food colors mixed with cocoa butter.


Do you offer refunds?
All sales are final, and we do not offer refunds. In addition, we are not responsible for our products melting during the shipping process, but we do take great care in packing and shipping to minimize any damage they may incur on their way to you. Nhiär Chocolates is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier miss-scans or inaccurate shipping information. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control. Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order as well as in their order confirmation email. Nhiär Chocolates is not responsible for any damages once they leave our facility. Our chocolates are best kept at temperatures of 55-65F, away from sunlight with a relative humidity of 50%. Please enjoy our products within a week (I.e., seven (7) days of shipping date).
